وی درباره پرونده ثبت جهانی روستای میمند كرمان توضیح داد:این پرونده به یونسكو ارسال شده و قرار است در سال 2013 میلادی مورد بررسی قرار گیرد.

معاون میراث فرهنگی اظهار امیدواری كرد كه با اعزام هیات های كارشناسی طی دو ماه آینده برای بررسی این موضوع،ثبت این پرونده روند بهتری یابد.

وی به برگزاری نخستین همایش معماری دست كند در شهر كرمان اشاره كرد و گفت:این همایش كه برای نخستین بار در دنیا برگزار می شود،فرصتی برای تدوین ادبیات معماری دست كند است.چرا كه علاوه بر مردم عادی بسیاری از متخصصان و كارشناسان معماری و باستان شناسی نیز اطلاعات چندانی درمورد این شیوه ساخت و ساز ندارند.
